The holidays are here and it is time to spread that cheer!
There is no better way to spend a chilly Friday night than by cuddling up on the couch with a cup of hot chocolate and a good Christmas movie. For some, Christmas movies mean suffering through while their significant other recites every line in the script while you sit scrolling on your phone. To others, it’s a special tradition that holds a place in the heart, even if it means watching the same movies over and over again year after year. Either way, we’ve got you covered with our Organic SPF 30 Full Spectrum 360° Sun Silk Drops for all that screen time. No need to get the holiday blues about those blue light rays. ;)
Here’s our list (and yes, we’ve checked it twice) of our favorite Christmas classics for you and your loved ones this holiday!
Elf
Son of a nutcracker, we love this movie! Can you believe it’s been 15 years since Buddy passed through the seven levels of the Candy Cane forest, through the sea of swirly-twirly gumdrops, and then walked through the Lincoln Tunnel? The years go on, but this Christmas delight only gets better.
Home Alone
Next time you’re sitting at an unwanted family gathering, be grateful your family did not accidentally leave you at home on the family vacation. Tap into your inner 90s with Home Alone. Additionally, many of the sequels do not meet up to the high expectations from the first film, however, Home Alone 2 is an exception. For lots of Kevin McAllister fun, we recommend a back-to-back movie night!
The Santa Clause
You’re never too old to believe in the Christmas spirit. Just ask Scott Calvin! BTW, has anyone else always secretly wanted Judy the Elf’s hot cocoa recipe? Just us? Nevermind, moving on...
It’s a Wonderful Life
Well, isn’t it? If this movie doesn’t give you all the feels, then we don’t know what will. If you’re looking for something a little more sentimental, this should be your go-to.
Christmas Vacation
We get it. Family is tough. However, Christmas Vacation does a great job at making your family seem ~normal~. And no Christmas bonus this year? Welcome to the “Jelly of the Month” club.
A Christmas Story
Don’t shoot your eye out -- we did not forget A Christmas Story! It’s actually quite difficult to forget because TCS plays it on repeat for 24 hours on Christmas. If this movie taught us anything, it’s that you should keep your tongue away from a frozen pole.
The Nightmare Before Christmas
Christmas movie or Halloween movie? The world may never know, however, we are very okay with watching it around both holidays.
Christmas With The Kranks
Who doesn’t love a movie with Tim Allen? Christmas With The Kranks will get you into your feel-good mood and you may even shed a tear. It reminds us there is no greater gift around the holidays than the people around you.
The Holiday
Can you say ultimate Chick-Flick? Grab your bestie + a glass of wine and park it on the couch for this classic Cameron Diaz movie!
