How to Use

Shake well. Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, and at least every two hours.

Frequently Asked Questions

When you say your products are made with organic ingredients, what does that mean? 

We use as many plant-based and organic ingredients as possible in our formulas. To see which ingredients are organic, reference the ingredient list above.  
Does this have allergens?

Every COOLA formula is tested for HRIPT (Human Repeated Insult Patch Testing). A repeat insult patch test can help determine any potential irritation or sensitization issues, minimizing the potential reactions for the consumer. This is a tool for safety evaluation. In addition, all our products are Nut-Free.
How often should I reapply my sunscreen?

Sunscreen should be applied at least after every 2 hours of sun exposure if you're staying dry. If you're swimming, or even sweating, you should apply again after the water-resistant time, which is 40 minutes to 80 minutes, depending on the product. Finally, don't forget to reapply after towel drying to ensure thorough sun protection!
Does this sunscreen leave a white cast?

Mineral sunscreens can appear differently depending on skin tone, the amount applied, and how thoroughly the product is rubbed in. Please refer to our product images and application instructions for the best experience.
Do you offer this lotion in a different SPF, scent, or format?

Yes. This lotion is also available as Zinc Oxide Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 in Tropical Coconut if you'd prefer a scented option. If you'd like a different format, COOLA also offers a zinc oxide sunscreen stick for targeted, mess-free application and a zinc oxide sunscreen spray for quick, hands-free coverage.
