How much do I use?

Studies show that most people only apply 25-50% of the recommended amount of sunscreen. We want to make sure your skin is well-protected—when applying this product to your body, use one ounce, which is about the amount that would fill a shot glass.

Every COOLA formula is tested for HRIPT (Human Repeated Insult Patch Testing). A repeat insult patch test can help determine any potential irritation or sensitization issues, minimizing the potential reactions for the consumer. This is a tool for safety evaluation. How often should I reapply my sunscreen?

Sunscreen should be applied at least after every 2 hours of sun exposure if you're staying dry. If you're swimming, or even sweating, you should apply again after the water-resistant time, which is 40 minutes to 80 minutes, depending on the product. Finally, don't forget to reapply after towel drying to ensure thorough sun protection!
