Summary:
Our summer interns are involved in strategic projects for the departments they are hired into, which provides each intern with real-world experience. The departments we are recruiting for vary season to season. This summer will include:

Position: Supply Chain Specialist
Summary:
COOLA is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to provide administrative and data support to the Supply Chain and Operations teams.
This is an entry-level, hands-on role ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who is highly organized, accountable, and naturally curious. You’ll succeed in this role if you enjoy digging into details, following things through to completion, and proactively problem solving in a collaborative, professional environment.
This role offers hands-on exposure across production, suppliers, and inventory operations. You’ll play an important support role in keeping day-to-day supply chain activities moving while building foundational skills in manufacturing coordination, inventory management, and operational problem solving. You’ll work closely with the Supply Chain and Operations teams, as well as external manufacturing and component partners, helping ensure products move smoothly from suppliers through to finished goods.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Production & Vendor Support

- Assist with preparing supplier communications under supervision
- Track production schedules and inbound delivery timelines
- Follow up on open action items to ensure closure
- Help maintain production status updates and flag issues to manager when identified
- Assist with documentation related to quality issues and mitigation planning
- Log vendor follow-ups as directed
- Support documentation of existing processes
- SKU & Production Coordination

- Support administrative tasks related to production across assigned SKUs
- Track BOM readiness and component availability
- Assist with rebrands and product launches
- Maintain SKU data and documentation within internal systems
- Support sample coordination within Operations
- Inventory, Planning & Reporting Support

- Assist with inventory visibility across warehouses and channels
- Maintain operational reports related to inventory, production, and service levels
- Compile materials for weekly manager-led Supply Chain meetings
- Maintain logs of supply issues as directed
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred)
- 0–1 year of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or related internship experience
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Willingness to learn and follow established procedures
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in a professional setting
- Proactive, takes ownership, and sees tasks through to completion
- Proficient in Excel; ERP experience a plus (NetSuite)
Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:

Experience in Consumer goods is a plus
Job Requirements & Compensation:
- Full Time, On-site
- $25.90-$34.10/hour is the salary range for this position. It represents a portion of the overall package, and includes flexibility based on the candidate's qualifications.
